A cookie is a small text file stored on a user's device (computer, phone, tablet) by the browser when a website is visited. Cookies are used for purposes such as ensuring the website functions properly, remembering user preferences, and collecting information about how the site is used. This Cookie Policy explains which cookies are used on the website operated by ACK Soğutma Sistemleri Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (the "Company"), for what purposes, for how long, and how preferences relating to these cookies can be managed.
2. Categories of Cookies Used
In line with the website's existing consent mechanism, two categories of cookies are used:
- Necessary cookies: required for the essential functions of the website (session management, remembering the language preference, recording the cookie consent choice, and security). These cookies cannot be disabled, as they are necessary for the website to function, and are not subject to user consent.

These two categories correspond exactly to the technical infrastructure of the cookie consent mechanism used on the website; the system stores only two preference values for each user, "necessary" (always active) and "marketing" (subject to user consent).

The cookie_consent_preferences cookie above is stored in the browser for 365 days once the user makes a choice, and applies across the entire website.
4. Managing Preferences
The user can change their preference regarding marketing cookies at any time via the "Manage Preferences" option on the cookie notice (banner) shown at the bottom of the page; this preference is updated persistently without the banner needing to be shown again. In addition, existing cookies can be viewed, deleted, or blocked from being set through the settings menu of the browser being used. Please note that if necessary cookies are blocked through browser settings, some essential functions of the website (e.g., maintaining the session, remembering the language preference) may not work properly.
