Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy has been prepared by ACK Soğutma Sistemleri Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (the "Company") to provide general information about the purposes and legal grounds on which personal data of visitors and users of its website is processed, stored and protected. The Company acts in compliance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and applicable legislation when processing personal data. Detailed and comprehensive information on the categories of personal data processed, the legal grounds relied upon, the parties to which data is transferred, and the rights of the data subject is available on the Personal Data Protection (KVKK) Clarification Text page, which complements this policy. In the event of any conflict, the provisions of the Personal Data Protection (KVKK) Clarification Text shall prevail.

2. Data Collected

The following categories of personal data may be collected through the website:

• Contact and quote request forms: full name, email address, phone number and, where applicable, company name,
• Membership account data: where an account is created, the email address, the password stored in a securely hashed form, and session information,
• Server and infrastructure logs: IP address, browser/device information, access date/time, and technical records of pages visited,
• Data collected through cookies: see Section 4.

3. Purposes of Use

The personal data collected is processed (i) to generate quote requests and communicate with the user, (ii) to carry out order and contract processes (including invoicing, delivery, and withdrawal/return requests), (iii) to fulfil legal obligations arising from applicable legislation (tax, commercial and consumer protection legislation, etc.), and (iv) to maintain the security of the website, prevent misuse, and improve service quality. Personal data is not shared with third parties beyond the purposes stated above, unless the data subject has given explicit consent or one of the exceptions set out in KVKK applies.

4. Cookies

The website uses various types of cookies, including cookies for maintaining the session, remembering the language preference, recording the cookie consent choice, and, where consent has been given, marketing cookies. Marketing cookies are activated only where the user has given explicit consent through the cookie notice (banner) on the site, and this preference can be changed by the user at any time. 5. Sharing with Third Parties

Hosting of the website and storage of data is carried out through hosting and database infrastructure service providers with which the Company has a contractual relationship; these providers have limited access solely for the performance of the technical infrastructure service and in accordance with the Company's instructions. Where online payment through the website is introduced in the future, payment transactions will be carried out not by the Company but through the secure payment infrastructure operated by the relevant bank or payment institution; payment instrument data such as card number, expiry date and security code is never recorded or stored on the Company's systems under any circumstances. Personal data is not transferred to third parties other than in the circumstances stated above or as required by law.

6. Security

The Company takes the necessary technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unlawful access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Data transmission between the website and the user is protected by the SSL/TLS encryption protocol; access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel whose job duties require such access and is monitored through access control mechanisms.

7. Your Rights and Contact

Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, the data subject has the right to: learn whether their personal data is being processed; request information about it if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, domestically or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request erasure or destruction of the data within the conditions set out in KVKK; request that correction, erasure or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred; object to the emergence of a result against the data subject through the exclusive analysis of the data via automated systems; and request compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
